Mr. Haoyuan Zheng | Environmental Science | Best Researcher Award

Beijing Forestry University | China

Mr. Haoyuan Zheng, currently pursuing his Master of Science in Agronomy at the School of Soil and Water Conservation, Beijing Forestry University, China, has established himself as an emerging researcher in the field of environmental science with a particular focus on the relationship between climate change and water-sediment dynamics. His academic foundation is strengthened by active participation in nationally funded projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Program of China, which have provided him with valuable experience in large-scale, collaborative, and interdisciplinary research. Zheng’s primary research interests lie in climate change impacts on hydrological processes, wetland ecosystem dynamics, and sustainable water resource management, areas in which he has demonstrated strong analytical and technical expertise. His notable publication, “Spatio-Temporal Dynamics of Wetland Ecosystem and Its Driving Factors in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau,” published in Water , highlights his research skills in applying multi-source remote sensing data and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to ecological challenges, identifying human activity as the dominant driver of wetland expansion in the region. Zheng’s contributions also demonstrate proficiency in advanced data analysis, geospatial techniques, and ecological modeling, establishing him as a capable and innovative researcher. Although early in his career, he has begun to gain recognition for his scientific rigor and dedication to addressing critical environmental issues, achievements that underscore his potential for future honors and academic leadership. His current work provides transferable models for alpine wetland conservation and informs climate adaptation strategies, reinforcing his relevance in both national and international contexts. Considering his educational achievements, research productivity, and commitment to sustainability, Mr. Haoyuan Zheng is highly deserving of the Best Researcher Award, as his contributions promise to shape the future of environmental science and resource management globally.
