He earned his Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Botany from the Government Arts College (Autonomous), affiliated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2019. His doctoral research focused on the evaluation of phytochemical and pharmacological activities and the micropropagation of Chloroxylon swietenia DC, a medicinally important and vulnerable aromatic tree.
