Faezeh Pasandideh pursued her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, in collaboration with Hamm-Lippstadt University, Germany, from March 2020 to February 2024. Her research focused on developing an energy-efficient UAV base station positioning mechanism to improve wireless connectivity, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Edison Pignaton de Freitas and Prof. Dr.-Ing. João Paulo Javidi da Costa. She completed her M.Sc. in Computer Science at the Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran, from 2012 to 2015. Her thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Rezaei, explored congestion management schemes in wireless body area networks. She earned her B.Sc. in Computer Science from Quchan University of Technology, Iran, between 2008 and 2012. Her undergraduate thesis, advised by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rezaei Kaskaki, focused on designing a web application for session management.

Faezeh Pasandideh is currently a lecturer and research assistant at Hochschule Hamm-Lippstadt, Germany, where she has been contributing since September 2024. Her role includes teaching courses in electrical engineering, control engineering, and computer science while supervising students in thesis and project work. Prior to this, she was a research assistant in embedded systems at the same institution from September 2022 to September 2024, where she managed laboratory experiments and student mentorship. From March 2021 to September 2022, she worked as a research assistant in cloud computing and machine learning at Dell in partnership with UNISINOS, Brazil, focusing on DB scaling, Quality Bot, and Quality Dashboard projects. Between January 2019 and February 2020, she contributed as a research assistant at Nasim Telecom in Tehran, Iran, specializing in network optimization and wireless communications. Earlier in her career, she worked as a research and teaching assistant at Payam Noor University, Iran, from January 2017 to February 2019, where she taught subjects such as artificial intelligence, programming, and database management.
