Dr. Shahbazi is a distinguished Professor of Medical Physics at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran, with over three decades of experience in medical imaging, radiation therapy, and biomedical research. He obtained his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Western Sydney, Australia, and has significantly contributed to the development of MRI contrast agents for cancer detection. Dr. Shahbazi has supervised over 70 postgraduate students and authored numerous publications in high-impact journals. His expertise extends to radiation dosimetry, nuclear medicine, and quality control in medical imaging. He is also a practicing medical physicist at Seyed-Alshohada and Al-Zahra hospitals. His research has received multiple awards, and he holds a patent for a 4-D lung phantom for radiotherapy purposes. With a commitment to advancing medical physics, he has been instrumental in integrating new technologies into cancer diagnosis and treatment.
