His Ph.D. in Mineral Processing, completed in 1989, focused on Froth washing in mechanical flotation machines. Dr. Kaya’s professional career began as a Research Assistant at McGill University (1984-1990), where he contributed to research in flotation kinetics and mineral separation technologies. In 1990, he joined Eskişehir Osmangazi University as an Assistant Professor, progressing to Associate Professor in 1993 and achieving the rank of Full Professor in 1999. Over the years, he has taken on numerous leadership roles, including serving as Director of the Technological Research Center (1995-2010) and Founder Director of ESOGU Vocational School (2010-2013).
