Dr. Nita Bakija-Haracija is an esteemed Associate Professor at the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Medicine. She earned her PhD in Public Health from the same university in 2009, following her MSc in Public Health in 2005 and BSc in Medicine in 2000. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Bakija-Haracija has significantly contributed to the field of public health through her roles as an educator, researcher, and public health specialist at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. Her research interests focus on public health policy, epidemiology, health promotion, and community health, aiming to improve health outcomes and promote well-being within communities. Dr. Bakija-Haracija is dedicated to advancing public health education and practice, mentoring future health professionals, and conducting impactful research.
