Prof. Shimaa El-Hadad completed her B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering at Cairo University in 1998. She pursued her M.Sc. in Material Science with a focus on aluminum alloys and the automotive industry at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, Canada, in 2003. She obtained her Ph.D. in Material Science from the Nagoya Institute of Technology in Nagoya, Japan, in 2011, specializing in advanced processing and aluminum composites.
