Dr. Suranjan Shil is an Indian researcher and assistant professor at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. Born on 13th April 1985, he has dedicated his career to advancing research in chemistry, particularly in theoretical studies of magnetic and electrical transport properties of molecules and radicals. Dr. Shil’s academic journey includes obtaining his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of North Bengal. He has gained significant international exposure, having worked in Germany, Denmark, France, and the UAE. His research contributions have been recognized through multiple fellowships, such as the UGC Research Fellowship and CSIR Senior Research Fellowship. With an ongoing SERB startup grant, Dr. Shil continues to impact the field of computational chemistry through teaching, research, and mentorship.
