Tim Kane is currently serving as the GIS Lab Manager at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he oversees a state-of-the-art lab equipped with over 60 Windows workstations, drones, aerial and terrestrial LiDAR, multispectral imagery, and RTK GPS units. Prior to this, Tim worked as a GIS Specialist and Project Coordinator at Roadway Asset Services from October 2021 to October 2023. He also spearheaded the transition from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, developed in-house tools to streamline workflows, and played a key role in training new employees, significantly contributing to the efficiency and growth of the GIS team.
