Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan, a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh, has an extensive academic and research background. His expertise spans molecular stress physiology, plant hormones, and the regulation of plant growth and development. With a PhD from Zhejiang University, China, his research has primarily focused on understanding plant stress tolerance mechanisms, including the role of melatonin in cadmium stress tolerance in tomatoes. Dr. Hasan has led multiple research projects, collaborated internationally, and published widely in high-impact journals, including the Journal of Pineal Research and Journal of Hazardous Materials. He has also been awarded the prestigious International Young Scientist award by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2018.
