Dr. Xiaoshuang Wang is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in landscape architecture, currently serving as a lecturer at the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts since 2021. She earned her Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture and a Master’s degree in Ecology from Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan. Dr. Wang’s research interests include landscape ecology and urban planning, CFD modeling and urban microclimate simulation, and landscape design and ecology management.

🎓Educational Details:

Dr. Xiaoshuang Wang is currently a lecturer in Landscape Architecture at the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, a position she has held since 2021. Before her current role, she pursued her doctoral studies at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, where she was a Ph.D. student in Landscape Architecture from 2016 to 2021. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Wang completed her Master’s degree in Ecology at Huazhong Agricultural University, studying there from 2014 to 2016.

Since 2021, Dr. Xiaoshuang Wang has been serving as a lecturer in Landscape Architecture at the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. In this role, she has been responsible for teaching and mentoring students, as well as conducting research in her areas of expertise. Her contributions to the institution include developing innovative curriculum content and engaging in various academic and professional activities related to landscape architecture.

Research Interest:

Dr. Xiaoshuang Wang’s research interests span several key areas within her field. She focuses on Landscape Ecology and Urban Planning, where she explores the interactions between natural and urban environments. Additionally, she is involved in CFD modeling and Urban Microclimate Simulation, utilizing computational fluid dynamics to understand and optimize urban climate conditions. Her expertise also includes Landscape Design and Ecology Management, where she integrates ecological principles into landscape design to promote sustainable and resilient environments.

Awards:

Dr. Xiaoshuang Wang has received numerous awards for her contributions to landscape architecture and design. In 2022, she was honored with the first prize at the 2nd International Street Design Challenge for her project “Biophilic Assembly Landscape in Querétaro,” hosted by UNESCO City of Design on November 14, 2022, where she served as the first instructor. She also received the Silver Award at the Finnish AG Design Award for her work “Ecological Pacemaker – Restorative Landscape Design of Future Low Industrial Pollution Area,” where she was the main instructor and ranked second. Additionally, Dr. Wang was awarded the Bronze Award at the 6th International Environmental Protection Public Welfare Design Competition for her project “Rebirth from Decay – Low Industrial Pollution Recycling Ecological Farm,” where she was the main instructor and ranked second. She earned the third prize at the 2022 CADA Japan Conceptual Art Design Competition for her project “Natural Recycling Ecological Park,” where she was also the main instructor and ranked second. Furthermore, Dr. Wang received the Bronze Award at the 12th “Challenge Cup” College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition in Hubei Province for her project “Yun Geng – Community Ecological Fruit and Vegetable Self-circulation Sharing Platform,” where she was the main instructor and ranked third.
