Building on this, she pursued her PhD in Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK, graduating with a dissertation titled Tales of Two Houses: A Comparative Study between Some Arab and British Feminist Novels. Prof. Dr. Hanan Ibrahim academic and professional career spans over three decades of teaching, research, administration, and consultancy, beginning as a part-time lecturer at the University of Jordan in Al-Ahliyya Amman University , where she rose from lecturer to Associate Professor in the Department of English. She has also served at the Arab Open University and the University of Jordan, holding leadership roles including Head of English Departments, Head of the MA Program for Women’s Studies, and Director of Queen Zein Al-Sharaf Institute for Development under the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Development.
